Hi.
Today the set got some power. EHT and HT came up, frame and line time bases were running and there was video drive. Nothing on the screen though and the expected voltages were fine. Grounding the cathode didn't help and the EHT remained at the same level during grounding the cathode.
A quick test shows no emission on the tube its not down to air and it makes me think the cathode is open circuit.
I'll try another tube out of the TV22 and see later in the week although it's low emission.
