Well all was done for a test today, screened lead replaced and some further wiring replaced. The CRT base was also past its best and replaced by a much better used one.
Noticed a leak on the EHT smoother so today's test abandoned.
Will need to open up the can and graft in a 0.1uf 7kv that I have in stock tomorrow. Then a full test.
