Hi.
As a new amateur with the Foundation License we are restricted in PEP to 10 watts, of course you could use a Yagi with 100 elements and have enormous gain which could be an issue in the antennas direction. Using various calculators for my set up there is no issues either to me or anyone in my garden or surrounding neighbourhood, I have printed out my results and these are in the "Shack area" of the shed for anyone or Ofcom to peruse. Even if I pass the intermediate with 50w PEP I am still well within the regulations.
At Full with 400 watts I could fall foul of the regulations. I though have no plans nor would be interested in that level of power.
I'm more into QRP anyway.
So what about the high power broadcast AM transmitters, UHF TV terrestrial transmitters, mobile phones stuck to your head especially in low signal areas when the handset ramps up the TX power, what about 400Kv overhead power cables, one such is in a housing scheme in Kilmarnock with a 10 times above average death from cancer. https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/1669...tage-show/
A lot of questions that are not properly answered.
