Hi.
Reading on the latest Radcom makes me wonder who is testing items on sale here in the UK.
The number of items with SMPS with no filtering nor common mode RF filtering is diabolical. These items are illegal but it begs the question of the examiners of these items. Its all very well checking them for safety but OK to allow them through even though they emit serious interference which finds its way into the mains and the cabling acts as an efficient antenna. I know of one on here that has issues with a neighbours induction hob, something needs to be done as the pollution from this is out of control.
Those doing the testing and those companies importing these things without full compliance should be taken to task.
