Hi.
The CRT from Frank arrived today. The packing with expanding foam is the way to do this, the tube is totally encapsulated by this material.
I've only so far removed the layer in front of the screen which looks really good with no ion burn visible. I'm not here most of the day tomorrow but hope to remove the tube and even test it in the set later in the day.
