Hi.
There were two sliders that didn't operate correctly and two other ones that didn't work at all. The height was at maximum and the line hold had two positions. So the line hold ww resistor was O/C thus the resistor network of the sync control and height were at the wrong potential. So I had a dilemma, no way could I get a replacement but I had an idea which has worked fine. I replaced the ww resistor with a 1.5k 2watt and found an enclosed 10k rotary preset that fitted perfectly in the back of the assembly with enough clearance for its neighbour to operate. I mounted this with epoxy and wired it in parallel with the 1.5k, the wiper goes to the line oscillator, the hole for pot lines up just about perfectly with the open slot for the old adjustment knob. A plastic shaft was bonded to the new pots adjustment piece and the shaft is wound into the old knob making it a rotary adjustment now. It all works beautifully now as does the other two controls. I've just one other pot to do.
I've taken another screen shot off the MW6 2 there is a little ringing and overshoot but I'll fix this once I've a bigger screen to look at.
