There is a similarity, but only external. Electronically, these are different receivers. Telefunken, on the other hand, has something to do with the KWN TV that I wrote about. I enclose a diagram of a KWN TV from 1949.
I joined the Forum because I also have several English TV sets in my collection. They have a different, interesting style for me. Reading the posts, I learn about many practical things about these old devices.
