I too have come across that copyright infringement and also wonder just how many people would spend money to buy information which is effectively obsolete. I did look into 'copyright' some while ago with regard to some around 100 year old photos with regard to doing paintings from them, but got very confused. I know a magazine is a collection of works from different writers who relinquish control, at least to some extent, to the magazine company, but there are other times when a book author's copyright gets taken over by the estate controllers of the original writer?
