Well I didn't know about the Silver Calcium batteries, you learn something new every day.
My Current Panda Cross has this smart charging for its big lead acid battery 65Ah and 500 amps as it's start stop. The current detection module is bolted onto the feed from the battery positive terminal and this feeds everything bar the main starter connection. I've not so far had any issues.
In fact this year there are some revisions, higher tyre pressures and on the 1242cc fire engine a change of oil from 5w-40 C3 to 0w-20 C5 spec all to reduce emissions even more.
