I'm a bit mystified. The ferrite beads have no effect at DC or 50Hz for heaters. The lovely Sussex valve tester design I have almost completed uses lots and lots of beads, to stop parasitic oscillation, but seems to function just fine at 1.4V heater settings.
Can you explain this comment further?
