Call me an old cynic but experience has lead me to always question things that go wrong.
There have been reported cases of people buying items and claiming a fault when they arrive. I have even read reports of people returning items they have bought minus some components.
So what I would question is, can you be sure that the reported fault is A) as a result of your work. or B) as a result of incorrectly being fitted by the owner. or C) owner just trying to get out of paying.
Its a tricky business doing repairs for others who you don't know, with many opportunities for claims when things go wrong.
