Yaesu FT-8000, front panel release

Managed to get the control released. There's a very small surface mount plug which is (was) soldered to the front panel board. It plugs into a socket on the board that the volume/squelch/select control is mounted to. In this picture the plug is in the socket, it pulls out easily. Where it received the knock, the joint has given way. Now I need and don't have a hot air gun. Anyone within a sensible distance from Watford have such a thing?
