Fixing crack in stone birdbath

Cement, ordinary portland would have done the job, maybe mixed in with lime paste. I used to use cement to fix leaks on my boat. To stop cracks spreading when I helped repair old stone buildings we used to use a kit made by Kilti which is basically a threaded rod inserted into a hole filled with some sort of epoxy.
