Hi Jeffrey No I certainly won't be messing about in any tv sets! Too much high voltage. An uncle of mine was ex RAF wireless operator /technician who was flung across the room when he touched the wrong thing whilst repairing a tv. I keep my fingers well away.
Slowly and carefully is the way forward for me.
I will keep you posted.
