Photo of LED lamps in my bench magnifier. If I was doing it again then LED tape would be cheaper and easier.
I used a 12V wall wart from the junk box to power my modified bench lamp. It would have been possible but more work to fit a 12V PSU in palce of the old magnetic cotnrol gear for the fluorescent.
Circular 4 pin fluorescents are certainly available. Google will give plenty of examples though I haven't checked for your size. Example: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Circular-fluore...B0069KFP5U
Beware of tubes that are specified for electronic control gear only if your bench lamp has a conventional choke. I don't know what the problems would be if you used the wrong tube.
