I think Jeffrey has said it all.
I hadn't thought of the decoder chip as being vulnerable but now Jeffrey has pointed it out I can see it being the case.
I got a 5 TVP5150 from china a while ago and tried one of them this week it turned out to be Duff same problem with the 27 MHz clock as Stephens.
I will try another again sometime.
