Interesting. Always thought of degauusing with colour CRTs. TBH, I've never got round to investigating the scan coil setup on my 702. One day I'll take out the CRT, put the EHT unit back together with Ed's rewound transformer (it's a horrible bodge at the moment but it give an accurate 5kV) and generally give the set some TLC.
