That's interesting Jeffrey.
I did run a MW6-2 at full pelt out of the Schmitt unit once and at switch off the heat on the screen was quite unbelievable. The scan coil assembly must also get very hot but seems impervious to it. The Decca is rock steady with no height or width changes during a few hours viewing.
