Ham Radio Deluxe only available for Windows , it will run on WINE but using it for rig control difficult. My rigs use USB for the control and it is much easier to use Windows. If I used a VM I would still have to have Windows so may as well run it as the system anyway!.
DX Lab needs Widows to run.
RT systems radio programming software runs on Widows.
Icoms own programing software runs on Windows. I use HRDL, RT systems and Icom software.
Win4IcomSuite = Windows, N1MM Looger+ Windows - N1MM will run under WINE but I do not know if the waterfall display from the IC7300 or
IC7610 will work.
I have used some Linux ham radio software with success. As I mentioned I am going to try the latest Mint, but in the shack I will now stick with Windows.
Windows 10 is not expensive to buy on line now which is another reason I changed. I also have many years of old programmes some paid for which I can now use again, Sibelius music notation being just one. ( I have tried the Linux alternatives).
I just hope MS keep their word and Windows 10 is the last version they release!
