I moved from Windows XP to Linux and had 3 machines on Linux and one on Windows 10. I now have 3 machines on Windows 10, 1 on Linux and 1 still on XP.
The main reason I went back to Windows was that a lot of amateur radio software does not seem to have a Linux version. I tried running in VM but I have the PC's connected to my Icom rigs and Icom only supply Windows drivers.
I still like Linux and intend to install the latest version of Mint on a spare machine soon.
As for Microsoft Office or Libre office. I have both installed. I like Libre Office for Wordproccessing, but MS Office Powerpoint is better that Libre Office Impress in my opinion.
I used to use Classic shell but do not anymore. The Windows 10 interface seems OK now.
