Remember - you need an AN8002 as well 
The AN8008 has gaps in the current ranges, and as a result, it doesn't measure low milliamps very well. It's the cost of including a uA range, and using the 10A shunt to measure milliamps - made possible by the very good voltage sensitivity of the IC. Personally, I'd rather they'd dropped the square wave generator and included a separate mA range using a 1 ohm shunt or similar, but it is what it is. The AN8002 doesn't do microamps, but does milliamps perfectly. And on those occasions when you need 2 multimeters to monitor 2 things in a circuit, it's nice that they're different colours. Well, I find it helps.
I'm in the middle of writing up these reviews for my website, with more detail in light of experience. Also, I've bought some more cheap multimeters, including a manually-ranging one (but using the DTMO660 chipset, so 6000-count and true-RMS) for those that prefer manual ranging. I'm still waiting on a delivery before I can complete them, but it should be here any day now.
