Struggled enormously with a phase inverter push pull circuit. Maybe the book over complicated the explanation but the task I had was to consider signal voltage between grid and cathode of V1 and then the drop across anode cathode, anode load series R1 and series R2. The basic idea was to use that drop to bias the grid of V2 so the phases of the voltages differ. I once had to make a simple voltage divider circuit to apply it to theory. Just a battery and bulbs and so on. I sometimes get confused but remember confusion is always a friendly process towards learning. I tried to imagine putting meter probes at various points of the phase circuit. You often find grid bias is taken from between 2 series dividers. In truth it may be simpler to just learn this by the use of a meter than using a schematic. Anyway, it stops me vegetating as I age.
