I would be very hesitant before dismantling or touching any screws on the Turret Tuner, I don't think it is necessary. The screws may be adjusters/trimmers, so you could be putting the whole radio out of alignment. You just need to make sure the contacts are clean, and give them all a little dose of switch cleaner.

Please, Please, Please, ask Mark to put the model number of the Astrad radio in the title so that the thread can be identified correctly.
