My German is almost non-existent, but 23 years working for a Blaupunkt Main dealer means that I do recognise terms such as 'Vorkreis fur KWMW' and 'vorkreisvariometer', which are basicaly 'precircuit of SW & MW' and precircuit tuner' respectively. The word 'variometer' can refer to permeability tuning, as employed in VHF tuners, and most Car radios, anfd, AFAIK, to Variable Capacitance tuning, as used in most AM & SW Domestic Radios. Incidentally, for those unfamiliar with German terminology, ZF (something like 'zwischenfrequenz', IIRC) = I.F., and NF = AF, whilst mains frequency = 'netzfrequenz', and a plug is a 'stecker'
