On the subject of dual standard sets, can anybody advise of an internet site that covers these beast? I've asked everywhere and am still trying to identify a dual standards Stella b/w television that I used to have my nose stuck to as a kid. Suspect mid 60s build, was finally retired in early 1980s for a Sony KV2204UB, and that set was a story in itself.
I remember that the Stella was gold in colour, gold x arms stand and the very bottom tuning knob did the UHF, with vertical sliders above for the brightness and contrast. Blasted thing used to eat PL valves for dinner, television engineer was around roughly every 4 months to stick a new valve in.
