Our neighbour gave me a 500volt single range Megger, the hand cranked type. The case is mottled coloured dark Brown/ Purple, there isn't any identification or mark/ type on the case, I think the meter might be from the 1950's era. Unfortunately it has been dropped, the case I can fix with Araldite. When I tested the output using an AVO 9 it only gave out 300 volts, not the 500 as required. Any suggestions what might be wrong with the meter, a circuit diagram would be helpful especially with component values if any one has one.Ted
