Does what work - The SG Brown magnetic amplifier, or the Quad 405-2 power amp, Model 34 pre-amp & Model FM4 tuner?
Car boot sale today.
Very disappointing. Two weeks ago, a stallholder told me she would be getting two valve testers from a friend to sell. Didn't bring them last week, and this week, I was told that her friend had tested them, and they didn't work, so he had thrown them away!
I told her that I would have bought one of them, maybe both, even in a non-working condition!
Several 1950s radio were there, but nothing that intersted me. I prefer them to be in very decrepit condtion.
Came away empty-handed today!
