Managed to get a complimentary ticket in the end.
All in all a good programme. Perahps a few points that could be disputed by the experts but the story is generally well told and adequately accurate.
I'm seen and heard on screen for about 10 seconds in total.
Transmission date still not fixed. Some are saying 2nd November, other 4th November.
There's a Royal Television Society meeting about the 80th anniversary on 9th November. It's open to all, not just members:

There will also be a talk at Ally Pally on the afternoon of Wednesday 15th November given by Norman Green. Again on the 80th anniversary. Don't know the ticketing arrangements for this but if you're interested I'll find out.
