Why not unwind the faulty one and weigh it?
I don't know how accurately modern metric wire sizes agree with the nearest equivalent SWG so you may need to allow extra for that.
I'm assuming you have a coil winder (or there is plenty of room on the spool). Otherwise you'll have to allow extra for hand winding as well!
