Errr. Have I missed something? The TT1  was a Transistor set if I remember correctly. Didn't you say that the one you remembered was Valves?

Yes Alan, thinking ptv typing tt1, not a typo, just missing brain cells. Pulled a few tt1's apart as a teenager for the transistors, for shame! If i'd realised how much they cost new, and their historical significance would I have commited such heresy.
