An interesting old Coil

That's a bugger. I assume the problem is the Wavechange Switch. Pity really, because the Aperiodic Switch is easier to get at.  Looking down the top there's a Screw which appears to hold the Wipers on to the Shaft. If you slacken it will the Shaft pull out? That will allow you to remove the remains of the Wipers and make some new ones.

I measure the Shafts at 0.186", which is near enough 3/16" (0.1875). The '30s equivalent of 5mm?

I've put mine back together and I think it's OK. Anyway, I hope so. Get yours going and we can compare measurements.
