An interesting old Coil

That's the Brother to mine - splendid.
The Windings look OK.
What's broken? Can you photograph the other side? I' sure we could fabricate something suitable.
We could even make a Casting of my Escutcheon.

When you turn the selector nob there is a piece of metal that slides over and selects the winding.  Someone at some stage has tried to turn it all the way round and it must have snapped.

The windings seem fine, and the Escutcheon is also OK, just not in the pic; odd size nobs though - are yours?  The spindle isn't standard size I think.
