Hi.
Well I replaced the EHT transformer from the spare chassis with just the same result.
I was beginning to doubt my diagnoses, so I went round the circuit many times and still I reckoned the EHT transformer was the fault.
I had another one I've had for some time so I dug it out of the loft and fired it in. Sorted! so two duff EHT transformers! Must be a first as these are very reliable usually.
There's still a lot to be done, Field linearity is poor and there are no results from the Vision/Sound unit.
That's for another day though.
