Computer Problem?

I fired it up this morning after doing that msconfig stuff, the click on the mouse is still working ok, computer is slow but nowhere near as slow as it was as first reported, dumped Norton and AVG to see if things went faster, about the same I would say, anyways installed free avast and left it at that.

Quart and pint pot comes to mind, the notebook was a present to my wife from the girls some years ago, it's not been to bad over the years considering the amount of use it's had.

I think she would be better off with another PC with a larger screen.
