John L Reinartz filed various inventions for oscillator patents, I wonder if it's the same gentleman who's name is on your coil Alan.
There is also the Reinartz oscillator which was more commonly used in the bog standard 6 transistor radios with a self oscillating mixer, I wonder if this is the same bloke?
