I have started tidying up the first cabinet.
There were missing fixing screws both on the baffle and the drivers.
Crossover capacitors were fine when tested at full working voltage on a real cranked Megger.
I will do away with the 1/4 inch jack and retain the latching XLR connectors as they are going to pair up with valve amplifiers and we all know what happens if the connectors are pulled with the amplifier running at high power.
I am still thinking of painting them the same colour as the amplifier cabinets.
I may well leave the coat of paint for next summer when I will have had time to decide if the sound quality does the amplifiers justice or not. I have confidence they will be up to it.
