Windows 8 clipboard Print Screen seems to be a bit different. Anyway I think I have it now. I will put a few notes together later.

Under Windows 7 and Windows 8 under "Accessories" there is a new application called "Snipping Tool" - this allows arbitrary rectangles to be copied from the current desktop.

Very useful...
