Having reassembled the C11 everything (except the CD Player of course!)is working perfectly, so no harm done. I'm always a bit wary of microprocessor controlled devices when odd things happen, since I had two or three fail completely, due, presumably, to statc electricity, during or after repair, some years ago. I hasten to add that I use an anti-static wrist strap, and bench mat, but these things still sometimes happen!
