hi fellas. fitted 2 new power supply caps, and transistors to amp as advised. Purchased esr meter. The very large original smoothing cap 4000 ohm is reading over 6000 ohms and an esr reading of 0.32. This is still in the power supply are these readings ok. I also purchased a 50v x 1 amp twin dc power supply. I used this to power up the amp (mains Disconnected) The amp is working but it is crackling badly as if you were turning a volume pot. The pots are ok by the way. and the volume isn't stable. any suggestions. And finally how do i couple both channels of the power supply to give 100v @ 2 amps It's the farnell st-30-1 terminals are I const/negative/positive/earth on each channel. I downloaded the manual but it's a little confusing to me. thank you in advance richie
