Hi,
Good job the mods are extremely tolerant on this forum innit otherwise half of us would have already been expelled?
Thanks Gary; I'll have a look at Skype just for interest but as you rightly say I don't use phones much at all. We have the free evenings and weekends calls with Virgin Media which we seldom bother with; I prefer email which I can read and reply to as I like. Phones are handy for special occasions. Having a mobile phone welded to my ear I would not class as essential and I'll try to muddle through without.
I was looking at the Apps on our TV yesterday and clicked on the web but that's all I did; web page (Bing) but no keypad just the remote with numbers? Yes I'm a total novice with so much to learn. YouTube though to me is worth having; its a pain using the remote to search but I can hook up with my computer making searching a great deal easier then settle down to watch the YouTube video on the larger TV screen and now the wall plugs are installed and working there is no buffering or breaking up of the picture; I'm slowly learning.
Kind regards, Col.
