Good news; Bron and I have been watching YouTube videos and the videos were perfect; absolutely no buffering or picture breaking up. The two new plug links were extremely simple to install; just plug in to a mains socket connect the single cable to each and switch on; even I managed this without problem. Fully sorted at last so all I now need to do is to find out what we can watch via the web; there are so many options available I doubt I'll be watching much TV as I try to work through what's opened up to us?
Our local Aldi staff are friendly enough Joe but just as I get used to them they seem to disappear so at our store staff turn around is ongoing with just a few regulars.
Expectations these days are so high when it comes to visiting stores Lawrence; normally I'm sure we would all expect to see pallets and boxes because items don't appear on store shelves by magic in fact I think it must be a huge headache just keeping shelves stocked whilst ensuring sell by dates are adhered to? Some stores though are much better than others possibly because of night shift staffing levels?
I don't visit supermarkets in order to browse simply taking along a list; collect the items and get out as quickly as possible. I've been visiting our local Morrison's since it first opened about twenty years ago and as I visit twice weekly at the same time I chat to regular customers whilst shopping and I know quite a few of the staff on the checkouts. Morrison's do move items around in fact they are a pain for doing this but it makes no difference to me as I adhere to my list. One thing I do dislike whilst visiting Morrison's are the revolving doors which really do annoy usually closing in my face just as I reach them both entering and leaving the store.
I receive the Aldi emails notifying me of special deals each week which I like to look at but I know if I don't visit the store early on the day of these deals the next time I do visit the deals have been snapped up?
I intended to wander into the garage but with a mixture of lashing rain/hail then brilliant sunshine I'll give it a miss today. April showers?
