Col, our TV is freeview, our freeview down here is not riddled with sport as you say your TV is so no problem here, don't mind sport on the news because it's news, it's always been that way on the news reports and I for one wouldn't like to see it removed even though I don't particularly take an interest in it.
We don't miss not being able to pause a program to brew up, we brew up when the adverts are on or during inter program breaks.
We have an old DVD player with it's own built in screen which sits on the coffee table in front of the sofa if the need arises.
Our broadband download speed seems plenty for us, it's down to the computers hardware and software that determines how fast that data pops up on the screen I guess.
We don't knowingly do pirate downloads, ultimately it stifles creativity.
To connect and set up all your new stuff all you have to do is follow the instructions step by step.
