I built a 23cm rig, 40W using QQV06-40s along with a Rx all valve, a parametric 23cm Rx and a 3cm Klystron set. I never had the courage to try for the license though. I built a double conversion CB set which I used abroad, unlicensed, tut,tut. I've got the big belly though....
