Thanks Gary, no; not going into business but I aim to put the best workshop together I possibly can then enjoy working in it making the most of retirement.
Once the new compressor arrives I'll set everything up for blasting the paint from the bandsaw; it's way over the top to buy the soda blaster then buy the new compressor just to remove paint from this bandsaw but hopefully both bits of kit will earn their keep making life easier for me; I might even attempt to spray paint the bandsaw because fumes from the machinery enamel are not as fierce as fumes from spraying lacquers and given the size of this bandsaw it should be possible to spray within the closed garage?
The new compressor might take a while to arrive because the seller is on holiday but I can do other jobs whilst I wait.
Earlier today I looked through the TV listings and great; Top of the Pops from the sixties so switched on the TV; five minutes later I switched off again; adverts. I also noticed Gone With The Wind; a brilliant movie but on a channel with yet more adverts so Bron and I have just watched our free downloaded Gone With The Wind in total peace with not an advert in sight; bliss and with Bron for company; Bron is now watching Emmerdale then Corrie and at 8:30 we'll watch another downloaded movie; perhaps Sleepless In Seattle or Dirty Dancing. With over 1,000 movies downloaded to DVD we can play our own repeats anytime.
Please be advised I intend to wander into the garage tomorrow so expect atrocious weather once again.
