I've still got the 2 transistor injector that I made back in the mid 1950s, built into a Woolworth plastic icing syringe! There's a picture of it post No 8 at the the link below, including a scope trace which shows that it still functions as good as ever it did. When I wrote the above post about injector/tracers, I had a distinct feeling of deja vu, and if I'd taken the trouble to trawl through the archives I could have saved my breath as I'd said it all before, back in Nov 2011:
