You're correct Mark - my mistake the 'LP1175' in the RIC1/2 isn't a Mullard module - it's the IF filter used to follow the TAD100 prior to the discrete transistor output stage.
Oh well, that's one saving grace! These sets also have a decent sized 7 x 3.5" elliptical speaker and can poke out up to 1 Watt.
