Well it went for £325 ish.
Not trying to promote Ebay or a particular sale but here is another you don't often see, described as the Hallicrafters Super Skyrider it looks from the pictures like it's an SX17, judging by the depth of the laminations stack on the mains transformer it might be the original but can't say for sure, the two pepper pot HT filter caps have been removed and a twin can connected under the chassis, all the rest looks original.
It still has it's original audio phase splitter driver transformer so far as I can see (sometimes these go O/C and get replaced with a universal type)
Performance wise they are very good considering their age, a Xtal filter is incorporated and is pin sharp when working properly, the BFO injection level is also variable by a front panel control, S meter is fitted as is wide and narrow IFT selection, bags of sound output from the push pull output stage, the cosmetics normally scrub up well, not sure if a cabinet comes with it or if its rack mounted.
