Me too. Can't have enough test kit - been looking at my colleague's one, and its very cute.
Regarding the extending button - just ignore/remove the existing one and solder some fly-leads to a proper push-button somewhere else.
Also, I see that Atlas now have a "DCA 75 Pro" which plots curves for semiconductor devices as well:
