French Clock Works ?

Looking around, I haven't found any clocks with similar movements and a pendulum
like the one I have, so maybe the pendulum was a later modification/repair.

I suggest you join this one:- http://mb.nawcc.org/forum.php where you can post pictures of your clock movement and there will be plenty of 'experts' and not so many 'guessers' (sorry, no disrespect intended). I've beeen a member of this forum for a while and it never ceases to surprise me how much information can be gleaned about a clock movement. You will probably find that others have the same movement in the correct case and will post pictures for you.
