My interest started and died on 3cms in the early 70s, From what I see today there is probably more fun as a pirate on any band as long as the kit is home made.
The commercial renderings have made it just multiband CB!!!
I have a 500W valve CB linear bought just for the PSU a couple of years ago but It seemed such a shame to rip it apart that I still have it on the shelf.
